“Mistral's foals are just incredible!  I searched for 3 years before deciding to breed my PSL liver chestnut mare to Mistral do Top. This combination has turned out so incredible I will be rebreeding again - only to him. I was blessed with a golden palomino filly, who has breathtaking movement, will reach 16 to 16.1 hands, and is extremely easy to work with and train.  She has plenty of fire - she should - she is 50% Viega; 25% Alter Real; 25% Andrade.

Mistral do Top is one of those rare stallions who reproduces himself.  Usually it is the mare that contributes 80% to the traits of her young, but in this rare instance - this stallion throws himself.  You can tell right away looking at his get - who the daddy is.  They all have his incredible neck, shoulder, straight legs, strong sloping hip and most important - trainability. He is the best kept secret here in the U.S. “

Africa, by Mistral

I searched the horse market for two years and finally found my equine soul mate.  Being an armature, I have a loving, gentle, willing partner in Africa.  Her personality and heart carry me on trails as well as the arena.  Being a Mistral baby, she's intelligent, courageous, beautiful and loving all in one package!  I believe I have found my once in a lifetime horse!

Bey La Mistral

If you want a champion,

breed your mare to a champion.

I’m not a breeder.  In January, 2005 My Beautiful Bey Begonia (Arabian) was injured (chipped hock) and I was told I would never be able to ride her again.  My husband, being the “fix-it” man that he is suggested I breed her.

A friend of mine suggested I consider cross-breeding her with a Lusitano Stallion:  Mistral Do Top.  What an adventure my life has been!  I could, literally, write thousands of words about how fabulous my Mistral baby is but I thought a few photos could express my joy and successes much better.

He TRULY IS the most wonderful, most beautifully behaved, most gorgeous horse in the entire world!!  Okay, my world.  If any of your potential clients want to hear it from me personally, you are welcome to give out my e-mail address, and I will be pleased to gush about the wonders of Mistral as a sire I love my Mistral Do Top baby!!!!  ~ Sandi

We bred our Viega mare Razia Interagro to Mistral Do Top. This cross produced our foundation stallion Crescendo De Magico. The reason we choose Mistral was because of his wonderful conformation, strong forward correct movement and his ability to handle the upper levels of dressage both physically and mentally. His color was really just a hopeful bonus for us, we did not think that our grey mare would give us a palomino offspring.  Low and behold we got all of this sires great attributes in his son Crescendo as well as his brilliant golden color.  Working with Denise is always a pleasure, as she understands the mare owners needs, and is very pleasant, accommodating and extremely professional.”
